The Stretchy Doorbell is an exploration combining Arduino and origami.
It is an open design project targeting families who don't want people to feel boring while waiting at the door. According to research, after pushing the doorbell, people tend to push them again before waiting for enough time. However, with this Stretchy Doorbell, people have to wait until the doorbell stretches back, during which time, they can also have fun watching the movement of the paper spring.
The underlying purpose of Stretchy Doorbell is to create fun and learning experience for end-users, through folding paper spring, and playing around with Arduino following instruction.
